Monday, Nov. 12 is the birthday of Baha’u’llah, an advocate for peaceful tolerance and non-violence, and the founder of the Baha'i Faith. Founded in Iran in 1844, the Baha'i Faith now has more than five million adherents in 236 countries and territories. Baha'is come from nearly every national, ethnic and religious background, making the Baha'i Faith the second-most-widespread religion in the world.According to the Baha'i website:
Today Baha’u’llah is recognized by close to six million followers around the world as the Manifestation of God, or Divine Teacher for this age. He taught that all of the Manifestations of God, including Moses, Abraham, Christ, Muhammad, Krishna and Buddha, have appeared at intervals throughout history to found the world's great religions. They have been sent by a loving Creator to help us know and worship Him and bring human civilization to ever-higher levels of achievement.
Baha’u’llah's central message for humanity in this day is one of unity and justice. In two oft-quoted passages He wrote, "The earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens,” and "The best beloved of all things in My sight is justice. He also stated, "The well-being of mankind, its peace and security, are unattainable unless and until its unity is firmly established.”
Baha'i Social Principles include:
- equality of women and men
- the harmony of science and religion as two complementary systems of knowledge that must work together to advance the well being and progress of humanity
- the elimination of prejudice
- the establishment of a world commonwealth of nations
- recognition of the common origin and fundamental unity of purpose of all religions
- spiritual solutions to economic problems and the removal of economic barriers and restrictions
- the abolition of extremes of poverty and wealth

Peace leads to planes flying into our buildings. One must always be prepared for war. The Bahari faith does not take the fact that not everyone in the world is going to be Bahari ever.

George Bush believes in:

(and has stated as much).

All Baharis women should be killed assuming they believe the tenates of their faith (female equality).
Iran is in the right on this issue. Hopefully their opinion widens.
