AdEngage Rejects Bob Allen, Recommends "Professional Help"

I am a strong believer in the 1st Amendment & the American system of capitalism. When they work together the way they should, it's a powerful thing.

Freedom of Speech must not just apply to speech we like, or that we agree with. As unpalatable as it is, Bob Allen of The World According to Bob has the right to express his opinion that women and young girls enjoy being raped, that they are flattered by their rapists' attention and that they will brag about the incident the rest of their lives. Bob Allen has the right preach that the very people who protect his 1st Amendment rights, the policemen ("Blue gun thugs") and democratically elected officials, ought to be rounded up in town squares and "impaled," and their bodies dumped in ditches.

And those who hide behind the Men's Rights Movement to obscure their insecurity and personal cowardice, are free to defend Bob Allen and those like him, as defenders of oppressed men rather than delusional, paranoid psychopaths who do irreparable harm to the MRM.

My readers and I have the right to speak out against Bob Allen's hatespeech and advocacy of violence. We have the 1st Amendment right to urge companies to send Bob Allen & those like him a message: We will not support your campaign of hate. You have the right to promote your views, but not on our dime.

The innovative revenue-sharing affiliate advertising program AdEngage is the latest to send Bob Allen that message. The day AdEngage ads appeared on Bob Allen's site, Robin Steele and Woman of Steele readers alerted AdEngage that Bob's site was in violation of their site content policies. AdEngage acted swiftly and responsibly, and within a day or two, the ads disappeared from Bob's site. On Christmas, Bob Allen posted that he had personally decided to not have advertising on his site because it "detracted" from his message.

A comment left by an Anonymous reader (great job Anonymous!) who posted the response received from Adam, of The AdEngage Team, tells a slightly different story:

His latest form of revenue decided against him. I guess being an advocate of child rape will only get you so far.

I'm sure that he will try to make his blog more PC in the future. This is the response I got for bringing to attention Bob's blog.

"Thank you for your inquiry into this individual. AdEngage generally takes the line of always permitting free speech as it is guaranteed in the US constitution, and the right of every US citizen (as we are a US company), as long as the speech does not violate applicable laws. It is always a tough line to draw.

That being said - we do not believe that his content will encourage many advertisers to purchase on our network, and therefore his site has been denied admission to our network (when you had seen his site, he had not yet been approved).

Congratulations to all readers of the Robin Steele blog who urged Google AdWords and AdEngage.com to enforce their policies against website publishers who promote click fraud, hate and violence against individuals and groups. Thanks to your willingness to speak out and take action, Bob Allen, publisher of The World According to Bob has abandoned efforts to "monetize" his irresponsible and reprehensible hate site. Bravo!

Bob Allen's website openly advocates violence and rape of women and young girls, calls for public "impalings" of police officers and elected officials, glorifies mass murderers and rampage killers as heroes, and offers practical moneysaving tips such as killing your wife prior to divorce because "Dead cunts get no custody." Of course, Bob Allen contends his decision not to pursue yet anopther ad provider was not a result of being dropped first from the Google AdWords program and then AdEngage.com at recent urging of Robin Steele readers. In Bob's December 25 posting, he contends he decided to drop ads to protect the sanctity and purity of his site. His unwavering commitment to not commercializing his hatespeech is truly inspiring:

Robin Steele "Needs to be Taken Down"

Over on Masculisp Man's site, Bob Allen called for "Ms. Steele" to be "taken down."
Not my site, but me.
Although he seems semi-literate at times because of a learning disability, Bob actually writes with a very calculated and cautious cowardice. Over years of practice (He actually was named one of the Kooks of the Internet back in 2002) he has developed a way of calling for violence in ways that he can disavow later. He will call for policemen or judges to be "impaled" by mobs in the town square, thinking that he's cleverly hidden his advocacy of murder. He will glorify and honor school shooters and murderers of women, praising them for standing up against the oppressive army threatening all men, sending out his own Be All That You Can Be campaign to encourage alienated and disturbed young men into taking violent action and dying as heroes.

When he writes: "Ms Steele needs to be taken down," his words are carefully chosen to put the message out that I, not my website, should be silenced.

This is his M.O. Use military metaphors and references to Satanism to demonize opponents in the hopes of triggering the base impulses of the desperate and damaged.

Bob Allen's Click Fraud Campaign

Google advertisers whose ads appear on Bob Allen's blog are victims of a click fraud ring. How does it work?

Those little boxes with "Ads by Google" are called "Pay-per-Click" advertising. Website owners that meet Google's site guidelines place their websites that show and update the ads. Every time someone clicks on one of the rotating, contextual ads, the advertisers pay and the site owner and Google get paid.


Website owners sign an agreement in which they agree not to click on their own ads or ask anyone else to click on their ads, since that is defrauding the advertisers with false clicks.
The advertisers sign up with Google ("AdSense" program) and agree to pay every time someone clicks on the link in their ad. They set a budget and Google's system automatically places their ads on sites using a "contextual" criteria.

If a company sells an anti-rape product, Google will place it on sites containing the word "rape." Advertisers are assured their name and products will only be associated with sites that meet their anti-hate, non-criminal, anti-violence policies, and they'll do all they can to assure the "clicks" they pay for are bona fide prospects, not the site owner or his pals fraudulently inflating his clicks and, in essence, stealing from the advertiser.

As these examples show, Bob and his supporters actively instuct people to support them by clicking on his ads, even though they do not intend to buy. This is called "Click Fraud."

Additionally, Bob Allen's site openly promotes hate and violence against women, police officers, individuals and public officials... All in violation of Google's ad policies.

If you advertise with Google, contact them and insist that none of your ads appear on http://bobstruth.blogspot.com/. While you're at it, ask them why they don't enforce their own policies against fraud, hate, profanity and violence.

Bob Allen Costs GOOGLE AdSense $3000/mo. Account

Tonight I sent an email to the owner of a company that sells self-defense products online. They have close ties to law enforcement, and work with the local sheriff's dept.. I notified him that his company's ads were appearing on cop-hater Bob Allen's blog, right next to posts advocating the murder of policemen.

The owner emailed me back within half an hour. He notified me that he had already suspended his $3000 per month AdWords campaign until GOOGLE could assure him that his ads would not appear on http://bobstruth.blogspot.com. Here's an excerpt from his heartening email:

Robin,
Thanks for brining this to my attention. As I assume you know, Google has Adwords on millions of websites. I seriously doubt they screen them. I think this Bob Allen guy is an idiot... I do not condone him in any way nor do I want expensive Adwords dollars being used to fund him in any way so I suspended my Google adwords account and sent the following email to administration:

I paused my Adword account until this can be taken care of. ...I spend about $3,000.00 a month with them, so I am pretty sure they will pull the ads from his site. I don’t want the kind of people who frequent sites like Bob’s to be buying my products, I don’t need the money that bad.
...in my line of work, it is not always about being right, we must also appear to be right. I work for the sheriff’s department here... and we are a family owned business that is one of the oldest self defense sites on the internet. We pride ourselves on quality products, excellent customer service and we most definitely care about credibility and public perception.

...I think you have enlightened me about some negative things done with Adwords and in response I have pulled ALL my ads until they can guarantee my ads will not be posting on his site. I assume you will get a similar response from the other merchant.

Great to hear from a man not afraid to immediately and boldly act against hate speech. He made it clear that he thought Bob Allen had the right to spew his idiotic views, but he had the right not to contribute to him in any way.

Boys, 8 & 9, Charged with Rape. MRAs Continue to Support Bob Allen.

According to the Associated Press, "Three boys, ages 8 and 9, were being held in a detention center on charges of kidnapping and raping an 11-year-old girl near a suburban apartment complex, officials said." According to Police Capt. Wayne Dennard "'The victim said they were playing outdoors and the girl was forced into a wooded area where she was sexually assaulted, where one of the boys raped her.'"

The woman's mother said the boys "'do need to be taught a lesson because if they do it to her, they could do it to somebody else."

Unfortunately, the time to teach boys and girls lessons of non-violence and mutual respect is BEFORE crimes occur. If the boys had been reading the websites of men's rights activists (MRAs) such as Bob Allen, they may have thought they were doing the girl a favor. On his website, Bob Allen states:

Finnish School Shooter "foreshadowed the attack" on YouTube; Kills 9
On Nov. 7, 18-year-old Pekka-Eric Auvinen killed eight people and himself at a high school in Finland. Investigators described him as "a bullied teenage outcast consumed with anger against society" who had foreshadowed the attack in YouTube postings. Another teenager who admitted plotting a school attack near Philadelphia had chatted online about the Columbine massacre. The PA teen was "horrified" when he found out about the Finnish attack and said he never would have suspected him of following through on a violent act, the attorney said. Prior to storming into Red Lake High School and shooting to death an unarmed guard, a teacher and five students before killing himself, 17 year old Jeff Wiese used the Internet pen names Todesengel, German for "angel of death," and "NativeNazi" to post his admiration for Hitler and the need for ethnic cleansing. "The clues were all there," Weise's step-aunt, Kim DesJarlait, told the Times. "Everything was laid out, right there, for the school or the authorities in Red Lake to see it coming. I don't want to blame Red Lake, but did they not put two and two together? This kid was crying out, and those guys chose to ignore it. They need to start focusing on their kids."

...Even those who embraced Weise in cyberspace, though, showed some concern for his violent imagery. When the teen posted the animated movie of the shooting rampage on newgrounds.com in October, one member wrote, "Was that like a warning message? Hmm dude you need help badly."

Well, it's not exactly a cause for celebration, but it's at least a validation that my little amateur Woman of Steele website and the comments and support of rational, peace-loving men and women from around the world is having an effect. Pro-rape, pro-violence "Bob Allen," whose World According to Bob blog on GOOGLE's Blogger platform, enthusiastically advocates violence toward women, police officers and others, has issued my first death threat.

In a comment on his own post, Bob wrote:

Does a call for violence against me by a hateful man who appeals to the distraught and deranged make me a little nervous? Sure it does. Will it deter me from speaking out against hate and violence on the Internet? Absolutely not.

Unlike Bob and his Men's Rights Movement followers, I refuse to willingly accept the role of victim. And contrary to what Bob and his followers might believe, I am not an advocate for gun control, I am pro-self-defense, and I do not hate men. In fact, I am in the constant company of my two favorite men, Mr. Smith & Mr. Wesson.

Officer Chuck Cassidy called "bad rubbish" by blogger

Veteran Police Officer Chuck Cassidy, a father of three, was killed in the line of duty. He was laid to rest today.

The alleged shooter, John Lewis, was apprehended today in a Florida homeless shelter.

It's believed Lewis shot Officer Cassidy in the head during an armed robbery. Suspect Lewis then took the time to steal the fallen officer's gun before leaving him to die.

Which of these two is the true hero?
Which is a murdering thug?

Bob Allen's The World according to Bob is a vile cesspool of hate speech against women, police officers, gays, minorities and more. It should be removed from Blogger, the free blog network that hosts it (and this blog). Allen's blog contains numerous pleas for his readers, many of them troubled and impressionable youths and disenfranchised fathers, to take up arms and commit violent acts against the police (whome he calls "Blue Gun Thugs"). Bob Allen Glorifies Cop Killers, Praises Violence

62 year old "Bob Allen" claims to be a philosopher, libertarian and human rights advocate. He is part of a growing, disturbing group of bitter malcontents who call themselves Masculists, or Men's Rights Advocates (MRA). Hiding behind the anonymity of the Internet, they spew hatred and advocate violence against women, the police, and anyone who disagrees with their agenda of hate.

On a recent post on his blog, Bob Allen claims that a vicious "blue gun thug gang" has been terrorizing and murdering the citizens of Philadelphia. Allen praises "a few brave men" who are defending their city from these thugs. Bob Allen proudly reports that "Over the past few days several of the evil blue suit gang have been shot, and finally one has been killed."

When Bob Allen says "Murdering Blue Thug Gang," he's referring to the men and women of the Philadelphia Police Department.

The "few brave men" he's praising are the vicious gang members, drug dealers and career criminals who have killed 259 Philadelphia Police Officers in the line of duty, including 4 this year.

The "thug" whose murder Bob Allen gleefully celebrates is 54-year-old Police Officer Chuck Cassidy, a 25-year veteran of the force, husband and father of three children. According to news reports, Officer Cassidy was shot in the head during an armed robbery of a Dunkin Donuts. The "heroic" suspect, who has been linked to at least three other Dunkin Donuts robberies, stole Officer Cassidy's gun and fled. Philadelphia Police Commissioner Johnson said the suspect is "extremely armed and dangerous and has no regard for human life at all."

Members of the Men's Rights Movement (MRM) like "Bob Allen" delight in sowing hatred, spreading lies and recruiting insecure and troubled youths into their paranoid and misogynistic fantasy world. When the truth isn't compelling enough, they create their own. In a post called , Bob Allen launches a hate-filled, libelous attacks on the memory of a brave officer killed in the line of duty without a shred of evidence or a single fact:

So-called "Masculists" make a mockery free speech by using it to spread lies, advocate hate and violence, and slander American heroes like Officer Chuck Cassidy.

It's time to expose these cowardly MRA haters send the message that lies, character assassination and calls for violence against innocent police officers are not protected speech.
